BlackBerry Tips: How to Install OTA

Well, install OTA at Blackberry is a bit tricky initially but once you know how to do it I think you will not find it difficult anymore because actually almost as easy as installing OTA install applications / software on the PC. First of all, you need to make sure that all the OTA download files you have moved on blackberry device memory or memory card to your BlackBerry.

Here steps to install the OTA on your BlackBerry:

1. Copy and paste all the files you've downloaded OTA. And if you would like to keep it in the sd-card memory card, you can use easy as you put it in your Flashdiks. But if you want to store it in the internal memory / your BlackBerry device, of course you will need to install the Desktop Manager application on your PC.
2. Once you upload all the COD and JAD files from your computer to your BlackBerry device, you can disconnect the blackberry from the computer. S
3. Now open the media application on the blackberry, and press the left button next to the trackball to open the full menu.
4. Click the "Exploration".
5. Browse to the location where you want to install the OTA download.
6. Once you find the jad and cod file, select the JAD file (should be only 1 file), and click "open".
7. Now you will see the details about this file on your Blackberry like the name, version and vendor. Here you will need to click the "download" at the bottom of the screen.
8. Once the application is downloaded, the install process will run and you can use this application.
